Christmas markets in Haute Corse

Bastia and its illuminations

Bastia's U mercatu di natale takes place every year on the market square, with its thirty or so illuminated chalets inhabited by local farmers and craftsmen. They offer charcuterie, jams, cheeses, wines, beer and honeys, as well as demonstrations of their know-how. Visit the Christmas market from December 10 to 23 on Place Saint Nicolas. Enjoy local crafts and agricultural products, available every day from 10am to 8pm.

L'Île-Rousse: Christmas market - a magical week in Balagne

The Comité des fêtes A Marinella transforms L'Île-Rousse into a real Christmas village: gourmet chalets, concerts, light shows, mascots and inflatable structures punctuate this festive week designed for the whole family.

From December 18 to 24, the program alternates between musical evenings (Alexander DJ, Duo Isulani, Romain Guerrini, Zinzale, Blu Mood), luminous Christmas characters, Disney Princesses, workshops and attractions for children. A warm-hearted event, ideal for experiencing the spirit of Christmas in Balagne, with a magical atmosphere, sharing and entertainment for young and old.

Natale in Calvi

Here you'll find Santa's chalet, which children will love. At the Christmas market you'll see an ice garden, craft workshops and culinary demonstrations, and you can organize a donkey ride. The Christmas market from December 18 to 31 at the port of Calvi invites you to discover local products in a spectacular setting by the sea.

Corte Christmas Market

The market takes place from December 17 to 23 on Place Paoli, transforming the historic center into a festive village with concerts and local entertainment.

Prunelli-di-Fium'Orbu - Migliacciaru Christmas Market

A family-friendly event on 12/13 and 12/14, essential for spreading the spirit of sharing. Free activities include inflatables, face-painting, balloon sculpture workshops, go-carts and donkey rides to keep the kids entertained all weekend long, and for those with a sweet tooth, hot chocolate and an oyster bar !

Christmas markets in southern Corsica

Bonifacio and its original stalls

From December 10 to 21, the Pisan district of Haute-Ville lights up with Festi di Natali, Bonifacio's emblematic Christmas market.
Some forty exhibitors - craftsmen, designers, producers and restaurateurs - make up a festive itinerary ideal for unearthing gifts and local delicacies.

Highlights :

  • festive opening with fireworks,
  • concerts and musical entertainment throughout the 12 days,
  • Christmas sweater contest and DJ night,
  • Christmas parade through the streets of Haute-Ville,

U Marcatu di Natali in Porto-Vecchio

From December 8 to 31, Porto-Vecchio brings the magic of the festive season back to life with U Marcatu di Natali, set up right in the town center. Illuminated chalets, local craftsmen and gift ideas make up an emblematic Christmas market in Corse-du-Sud.

The program includes

  • entertainment for young and old,
  • ice rink for family fun,
  • gourmet discoveries and workshops,
  • and a varied cultural program,
  • and barbecues with young Corsicans playing guitars, for an authentic interlude in the warm spirit of Christmas.

Ajaccio Christmas Market: dates and highlights

The Ajaccio Christmas Market runs from November 28 to December 28. Nearly 80 exhibitors, local crafts and Corsican specialities liven up the chalets in the city center.

The program includes

  • Santa's house, Grand Parade on December 14, merry-go-rounds, skating rinks, children's workshops and shows.
  • The weekend's nocturnes offer concerts and a festive atmosphere until 10pm.
  • The City Trail on December 27, with its 9.5 km route, closes the event.

A not-to-be-missed event to experience the magic of Christmas in Corse-du-Sud.

From Cap Corse to Corse du Sud, via Haute Corse, the Christmas markets will offer you an embarrassment of riches: fashion items, cutlery, costume jewelry...
