What does GT20 stand for?
T20 - Grande Traversée de la Corse à Vélo :
- Itinerary: The GT20 crosses Corsica from north to south, generally starting in Bastia and finishing in Bonifacio. It offers a diversity of landscapes, from Mediterranean beaches to the rugged mountains of central Corsica.
- Distance and duration: The total distance of the GT20 is around 600 kilometers. The duration depends on your level of fitness and the intensity of your daily itinerary. Some cyclists can complete it in a week, while others can take up to two weeks, taking time to visit towns and villages along the way.
- Difficulty level: The GT20 is a demanding itinerary with many changes in altitude, as Corsica is mountainous. Physical fitness and previous mountain biking experience are recommended.
