Imagine galloping along a Corsican beach, crossing the maquis, following the rivers and riding to the mountain villages… Over 5 days, this multi-day horse-riding trek in Corsica takes you from Corte to the shores of the east coast. And, weather permitting, enjoy an unforgettable experience: riding your horse into the sea. A rare adventure to discover a wild, intimate and intensely vibrant Corsica.
Full program
Day 1 : Poggio-di-Venaco
Meet and greet at the airport. Transfer to the riding centre in the Corte area (1-hour journey from the airport).
Check-in at your accommodation.
Welcome drinks, briefing on the walk and meal.
Day 2 : Poggio-di-Venaco
Meet at the stables at around 9 am after breakfast to get to know your horse and familiarise yourself with the equipment. Set off along the River Tavignanu to the picnic spot by the water’s edge.
In the afternoon, return to the riding centre via the hills of Poggio di Venaco.
Day 3 : Linguizzetta
Day 4 : Linguizzetta
Day 5 : Pianello
Day 6 : Poggio-di-Venaco
After looking after the horses and the equipment, the ride ends with a convivial dinner

Practical information
Horses suitable for mountain trails. Free-roaming horses in herds. Predominantly Corsican breeds and saddle horses.
Hiking saddles and mixed saddles with hiking equipment.
A catering car every evening and at lunchtime generally with personal belongings.
Graduated guide and tour leader.As the establishment is also a training centre, trainees may be asked to supervise treks or holidays on their own or with a qualified leader.
Notify us of any medical treatment, special diet or health problem when you register.
Please note: in summer we have to adapt the riding times according to the temperature.
Particular difficulties
Cavaliers en bonne condition physique, pratiquant l’équitation en extérieur et maîtrisant les 3 allures. Les enfants à partir de 10 ans étant à l’aise aux trois allures accompagnées d’un adulte sont acceptés.

Meet and greet at Bastia Airport.
Outward transfer from Bastia Airport to the equestrian centre (approx. 1 hour by car).
Shared accommodation in a mobile home (please bring a sleeping bag) on the evening of arrival and the night before departure, and during the trek: a stopover gîte sleeping 2 to 10 people with shared toilet facilities, a shared mountain refuge, campsite (toilets), bivouac (1 water point), 1- to 2-person tents with mattresses provided.
Aperitif on the evening of arrival and departure.
Meals on site (wine available) or picnics in the countryside from dinner on the first day to breakfast on the last day.
Supervision: qualified guide and tour leader. As the establishment is also a training centre, trainees may be required to lead treks or trips either independently or alongside a qualified supervisor.
Horses and equipment: trail horses suited to mountain routes, trail saddles and mixed-use saddles with trekking equipment.
Logistics: A support vehicle every evening and at lunchtime, usually carrying personal belongings. With the exception of the Lakes trek, which is undertaken independently over three stages.
Return transfer from the equestrian centre to Bastia Airport (approx. 1 hour by car).
