Romulées, Sicilian forget-me-nots and a large series of small Fabaceae
The "Tre Padule" are particularly rich temporary ponds. The progress of vegetation in this area is closely linked to the water level in the ponds. Several species of Romulas, Sicilian forget-me-not and a large number of small Fabaceae can be found here. Also of note is Silene laeta, an extremely rare plant on the continent. In the Maora area, make several stops along the Gulf of Sant-Amanza, where you'll come across Gynandriris sisyrinchium, Evax rotundata and Brimeura fastigiata, to name but a few.
