The Tavignanu River
Meet at the stables around 9:00 am after breakfast to get acquainted with your horse and equipment.
Take off along the Tavignanu river to reach the picnic spot by the water.

Poggio-di-Venaco
In the afternoon, departure for the heights of Poggio-di-Venaco and views of the Aiguilles de Popolasca before returning to the riding center.

Day 3 : Linguizzetta

Bravone
Having loaded our luggage for the week, with the horses in the vans, we set off for a transfer to Bravone, where we leave our belongings in the gîtes before riding to the beach.

Depending on the season, lazy afternoons on the beach, with, in season, a swim with the horses if conditions permit.

A ride through the chestnut grove takes us to the banks of the Bravone for the midday picnic at the foot of the ancestral sheepfolds.

We then head back to the village of Pianellucciu for a night in a gîte.

The Boziu region
On this last day, our horses allow us to explore the picturesque Boziu region.
Lunch in the shade of the Alandu convent, before heading back down to Corte, nestled in its mountain setting.

After looking after our mounts and their equipment, the ride ends with a convivial meal at the equestrian center. Overnight in a mobile home (recommended).

Practical information

Level and physical condition:
Riders in good physical condition physical condition, able to ride outdoors and master the 3 paces. Children aged 10 and over who are comfortable with all three gaits, accompanied by an adult, are accepted. Please inform us of any medical treatment, special dietary requirements or health problems at the time of registration.

Particular difficulties

Cavaliers en bonne condition physique, pratiquant l’équitation en extérieur et maîtrisant les 3 allures. Les enfants à partir de 10 ans étant à l’aise aux trois allures accompagnées d’un adulte sont acceptés.

Price

This price includes

  • Welcome at Bastia airport.
  • Outward transfer from Bastia airport to the riding centre (approx. 1 hour by car).
  • Collective accommodation in mobile homes (bring your own sleeping bag) on the evening of arrival and the day before departure and during the ride: 2 to 10-person stopover gîtes with shared sanitary facilities, collective mountain huts, camping (sanitary facilities), bivouacs (1 water point), 1 to 2-person tents with mattresses provided.Aperitifs on arrival and departure evenings.
  • Meals on site (wine provided) or picnics in the countryside from dinner on day 1 to breakfast on the last day.
  • Supervision: qualified guides and leaders. As the school is also a training centre, trainees may be asked to supervise treks or stays on their own or with a qualified leader.
  • Riding and equipment: trekking horses suitable for mountain tours, trekking saddles and mixed saddles with trekking equipment.
  • Stewarding: a steward's car every evening and at lunchtime generally with personal belongings. The return transfer from the riding centre to Bastia airport (approx. 1 hour by car)
