La Pietra, chestnut delight
From Brasserie Pietra, Pietra is a 6% ABV amber beer brewed from a blend of malt flour and chestnuts. The high fermentability of chestnuts helps maintain the beer's alcohol content and gives it its golden color. The foam is as intense as it is creamy, and if you have a delicate nose, you'll detect hints of honey. This unique blend gives Pietra an exceptional personality.
Now a symbol of the island of Beauty, Brasserie Pietra's beers have an international presence, and hold their own against the competition. Chestnuts have always been used as a cereal in Corsica, but it took many years of research to validate the qualities of chestnut flour.

Pietra Bionda, our blond
Like its big sister Pietra, Pietra Bionda is brewed with a blend of selected malts and chestnut flour. A light blond beer, it has a creamy head and a slight bitterness, with great thirst-quenching and refreshing qualities. Chestnuts are a traditional Corsican fruit, hand-picked in the Castagniccia mountains.
Colomba white

With its 5° alcohol content thanks to a blend of barley and wheat malt, and flavored with maquis herbs, Colomba has a persistent head that clings to the glass. Its delicate flavor is enlivened by fresh citrus notes. It was awarded the platinum medal at the World Beer Championship.

How to appreciate Corsican beer: the art of tasting
To fully appreciate their flavors, here are a few tasting tips:
- To be consumed neither too hot nor too cold, be sure to keep your blond and white beers at 6°C, and at 10°C for brown and amber beers.
- For tasting, opt for a beer glass. It helps to diffuse the aromas.
- Remember to rinse the glass with cold water. This will prevent foam and bubbles from sticking to the sides.
