Our Corsican tips

Here are our 10 tips designed to help you enjoy a rich and memorable experience in Corsica:

  • Book your plane or boat transport, car rental, accommodation and activities well in advance, especially if you're leaving between June and September. Many tourists arrive on the island of beauty for the school vacations, and prices rise during these periods.
  • Consider going by boat if you want your own car and there are more than 2 of you travelling.
  • Choose air travel if you live far from the coast, and make the most of your stay.
  • If you're renting a car, avoid the big ones, but even if it's small, it's better if it's powerful.
  • Make sure you have valid identification: an identity card (less than 10 years old for minors) or a passport.
  • Trust us: we'll plan your trip according to your budget, but without revealing everything.
  • Choose to spend several days at altitude under the mountain sun, and prefer July to August.
  • Don't forget your running shoes, as Corsica is a walking tour. Spring is undoubtedly the ideal time to fully immerse yourself in Corsica's Mediterranean climate, while enjoying the pleasures of hiking.
  • Take the time to talk to craftsmen and producers. It's a truly enriching experience, especially on the roads of Balagne.
  • Respect nature during your activities at sea and in the mountains.
  • Corsica, a jewel of the Mediterranean, is revealed in all its splendor, from sharp peaks rising proudly into the sky to turquoise-blue waters melting into white-sand beaches. But be warned, this island is not a universal destination. It is particularly suited to nature lovers, ready to embrace the winding roads that wind through its majestic mountains.
  • Corsica's charm is unquestionable, but it stands apart from other French regions, inviting a more raw form of wonder, closer to the elements. Corsica offers an immersive experience in the wild, unspoilt beauty of nature.
