The Corsican Nature Park or Pnrc
The history of Corsica's regional nature park began on May 12, 1972, with theapproval of a charter focusing on :
- protecting sites and nature
- promoting livestock farming and using tourism to revitalize the rural economy
- improve exchanges and links between sea and mountains
Since its creation, the park has contributed to the sustainable development of Corsica, bringing together volunteers, local residents, associations and park staff whose watchwords are: protect and develop.

Corsica Regional Nature Park
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Corsica's Regional Nature Park covers 51% of the island's surface and can be visited on foot or mountain bike in summer, or on snowshoes or skis in winter.Here are a few suggestions:
- Fango Valley Biosphere Reserve
- Moltifau Turtle Village
- The archaeological sites of Cucuruzzu and Capula
- North of the park: the Asco Valley
- South of Corte: Gorges de la Restonica and Aiguilles de Bavella
Other outdoor activities: In Vivario, south of Corte, you can hike the mythical GR20, the GR "Mare a Mare Nord variante", hike to Monte d'Oro via the Pozzarelli sheepfolds, visit the archaeological trail at Abri Southwell, hike to the Cascade des Anglais on the L'Agnone stream (GR20) and visit the adventure park in the Vizzavona forest.
Among the natural gems of the Isle of Beauty, visit the Calanques de Piana and the Scandola Reserve, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites for their biodiversity. The Aïtone forest at Evisa is also a must for hiking and discovery enthusiasts!

In Balagne, Parc de Saleccia is located 4km from Ile Rousse, in the Balagne region. The marine nature park
At Cap Corse : If you'd like to discover the natural wealth of Cap Corse, don't hesitate to visit the Parc naturel marin du Cap Corse et de l'Agriate. With a surface area of 6,830 km², it's the largest marine nature park in mainland France, and is home to a rare diversity of underwater landscapes!

Bouches de Bonifacio International Marine Park (Corse-du-Sud). It is the largest nature reserve in mainland France. Covering an area of 80,000 ha between Corsica and Sardinia, the Bouches de Bonifacio features a landscape of limestone cliffs and granite chaos.
