Places and dishes to avoid :
- Restaurants that offer you Figatellu (a Corsican winter speciality) in the middle of summer!
- The same goes for Brocciu, which is generally eaten from November to May. Not to be confused with brousse, which can be eaten in various forms in summer.
- Stalls selling donkey sausage, a traditional tourist attraction. The only real Corsican sausage is made from pigs born and bred in Corsica. The donkey is almost sacred for a Corsican. You might as well stick to a donkey ride... Much more delicious!
