30 km from Bastia : Le Stollu

If you're in good condition, this very sporty canyoning trip starting from the fountain in the village of Sorio is for you! The paths once used by shepherds will lead you to the first waterfall in a wild and sublime setting. Look around you, surrounded by green schist. The next three waterfalls refresh you before you slide down a 15-metre slide to a 27-metre waterfall. Don't panic, your guide is on hand to supervise the 2 successive abseils. The adrenalin has put a smile on your face, it's just been great, but after this 2-hour descent, one last surprise awaits you!

Canyoning in Ponte Leccia with or without children

Ponte Leccia's wild, little-visited canyons offer a unique experience. Different levels are available for families with children: from age 7, 10 and 14. Your intrepid teens will remember this sporting day of jumps, slides and abseils for a long time to come, but will also have to learn about safety, respect for the environment and equipment checks before setting off. If you wish, you can also book this activity for a half-day (3h30) or a full day (7h00).

From Porto Vecchio: The Restonica valley, waterfalls and canyoning spots

Corte, in the center of Corsica, is easily accessible whether you're staying in Porto-Vecchio or Calvi. Well-known for its many beautiful hikes, Corte will also seduce you with its canyoning.

Canyoning near Corte: Le verghellu

Starting out from Vivario, a pretty mountain village 30 km from Corte, beginners and families alike can enjoy this activity and take the opportunity to visit the charming little villages crossed by pigs and goats in the Verghellu valley. On the program: swimming, jumping into pools of translucent water, a zip line, numerous natural slides - in short, lots of fun in a little-visited area, a rare luxury in Corsica in summer!

The bestcanyoning in Tavignano

The activity here lasts 6 hours, so seems to be reserved for the most hardy. The descent is not extremely difficult, but requires long swims and many jumps, making it the longest in Corsica. Fortunately, a waterproof canister in the backpack and the neoprene wetsuit act as a buoy. The Cortenais massif and the Tavignano offer some remarkable scenery.

In autumn, the Petra Leccia canyon

Have you decided to discover Corsica out of season, for its intimacy, its flamboyant colors or its festivities? Excellent choice.

Even if temperatures are milder and the water cooler at this time of year, you'll be able to take advantage of the less crowded canyons for a beautiful, intimate session.
Take the road to Petra Leccia, north of Corte. After a walk through pine and beech trees, you reach the foothills of the canyon.
During this day, your guide will remind you of the basics while teaching you new techniques. Then you'll be ready to take on the island's other iconic canyons during the summer.

If you're feeling a bit chilly, you can also move forward in the canyon without getting wet: the Petra Leccia route is mainly made up of abseils and climbs, including an incredible descent along a ravine over ten meters high.

Canyon du Petit Vecchio for the whole family

Want to have some fun with friends and family, and your group includes a few beginners? Whatever your age (from 6 upwards), this canyon between Venaco and Vivario is for everyone. Let yourself slide between the granite boulders and listen to the stories of your qualified guide, who knows all there is to know about the area. Ask him to take a few photos for your souvenir collection.

Canyon du Haut-Vecchio

As you make your way towards the Monte d'Oru massif, between forests and steep paths, the tumult of the river intensifies... You're above the canyon!

Here, the 10-metre height guarantees unforgettable jumps. A few more tips from your guide and it's your turn!

Right from the start, the fresh, choppy waters of the Vecchio River set the tempo. You let the current carry you to the rock face, where your guide awaits you.

And the thrills don't stop there, as a new adventure awaits you: abseiling.

Securely fastened, you carefully make your way into the heart of the canyon... The scenery is breathtaking. At the end of this effort, a rocky promontory offers a privileged view of the massif: the first of the day's many rewards.

Aventure Corsica: what you need to bring

To ensure that canyoning in Corsica is a comfortable and successful experience, the right equipment is essential. Your shoes must be non-slip and high to protect your ankles. If not, you can rent them on site. Don't forget to bring a swimsuit, shorts and a T-shirt, a towel, a picnic lunch, your ID card for the deposit, and 1.5 liters of water per person. You'll need to be in good physical condition, and be sure to specify your children's age, weight and height to determine which level of canyon to choose.

Aqua rando and rafting

If you're looking for a different kind of adventure in the emerald waters of the Isle of Beauty, then you've come to the right place! The water is soft and refreshing, and you can go up or down the river on foot for a sporty hike. Climbing up the rocks, descending and swimming for 2 or 3 hours promises to give you a good workout, as you'll be using different muscles for this activity.

You'll also love rafting, which involves paddling in fast-flowing waters. The 89 km of the Golo river is ideal for this sport, which is accessible from the age of 8. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rafter, you're sure to enjoy the thrills!

Our advice: Eat starchy foods the night before and eat a hearty breakfast the morning of the canyon.
